Well, thats that lot done:

Venue booked
Meeting with manager and head chef sorted
Appointment to give notice to marry
Registrar booked
Wedding dress shop appointments booked
Hair and make up trial booked
Shoes bought
Cake sorted

I have also emailed a couple of people who we are thinking of using but can't say too much more on that yet.

I am refusing to let this become a bigger deal than we want it to be and I am not having it turn into a stress so do a bit at a time and it will all be cool!

Bloody hell!

It took me a month to even get the registrar to answer my phonecalls never mind making an appointment for the banns lol!

We just can not bear the thought of it turning into a circus and a stress - it's just not "us" and believe me, I am not being super organised as I want it all now, I am doing it in the sense of damage limitation!!

We want it to be the simplest, easiest planned wedding and this seems to be the best way to ensure that happens!
