Since it's her birthday just after christmas I'm struggling to split them up Here's what I was thinking... do you think this is a fair split?

Christmas - New PJs and story for Christmas Eve, Ball pit + balls, fisher price stroll along walker with doll, bath toys, toybox (really a blanket box which I'm gonna decorate lol), trampoline, CD player with lullaby CDs and nursery rhymes, musical instruments and her stocking stuff (hair clips, chocolate, new cup, bowl, plate and cutlery, some disney dvds, books, new towels, new hat and gloves, new bedding for her cot and a height chart)

Birthday - Bounce n spin zebra, megablox, rainbow aquadraw, crayola set (my first crayons, markers, pencils, finger paints, paintbrushes, paper etc etc), Play-Doh set and new clothes which I'll get in Jan sales.


I think I've got too much for Christmas and not enough for her bday but I dunno what to swap over. Damn MILs fault anyway i was planning on getting her a smart trike for her birthday and she stole the idea

I think the split is fine, she has more "big" things for her birthday, plus if she is getting other things from family she will have loads. She's one lucky little girl!

We're in the same boat with Seth I don't feel like we've got him nearly enough but we've given all our ideas to other people lol They'll get spoilt from EVERYONE. But I know what you mean I feel quite bad but we've just moved house & got him furniture and new clothes & shoes too, plus we're going on holiday so I guess all of that together is kind of a long spread out christmas present.

At this age they don't realise & will be happy with what they get. Make the most of it coz in 5 years time she'll be demanding all of Toys r Us

Logically I know that she wont know its christmas and that theyre toys from santa but i still feel guilty ;o I'll maybe pick up some bits in Jan sales for her birthday too.. who knows!
