i hate ot when sales assistance are rude, this thing in my old local shop would "serve" us while on her phone n would just put her hand out n not even say how much the shopping was. i was heavly pregnant n pissed off so i just stood there n looked at her back n it went on for like 2 mins before she said how much i owed. i could of slapped her lol

i dont think a old person has ever said thank you to me when ive moved out of their way, i think they are far more rude then some young people who have said excuse me to me.

Ugh, i HATE it when people dont say thank you or please. Me, OH, our friends with their daughter in the buggy and their son were walking along a pavement, a few people with a pram were walking towards us, everyone i was with moved on the road - now i wont move on the road for anyone as there was enough room for us all if one of them had moved, and one just bumped straight into me - called her a stupid cow lol. Then walking along the same pavement we were walking slow and a couple with a pram were walking behind us, OH said for us to move out the way so they could get passed, not a word was said so i said loudly "a thank you wouldnt go a miss" it really makes my blood boil.

I worked in peacocks once lol, i always used my manners though, even with awkward customers. It would be annoying when having moving big rails and the customers could quite easily see you coming yet not move! grrr!

I do think the older generation are quite rude also.
