I haven't heard the baby in while. So I used my dopplar today, heard what I thought was heart beat, but was registering at 127 and progressively getting slower. Now I'm so worried. We saw him on a pvt gender scan last weekend and he was perfect, but he was facing my spine. I wonder if that could affect me hearing if. Just need some reassurance.

I'm sure everything is fine but it is for reasons like this that midwives don't like us using dopplers (I can't say anything though because I use one too) If you have any concern at all I would call your midwife or gp and tell them. It is always better to err on a side of caution :)

Ring your midwife etc if your worried. You shouldnt be relying on a home doppler to reassure yourself, you arnt trained to know what your actually hearing, baby/placenta/your own heatbeat etc. X

That is true. I have a OB apt in one week. Don't have a midwife. I've never been good at using it anyway.
