Well I found my heart beat and the placenta lol. But not little peanuts. I suppose I will try later. Just wanted DF to hear before he went to his meeting.

I finally found it at 12weeks.......

Lie flat on your bed, use lotsa oil ( i use baby oil) and literally go close to your pubic bone. For me it was slightly off the pubic bone, slightly on it. press firm and literally move 1cm at a time. when you heard the swooshing, its closeby...

i find it straightaway now as i know exactly where it is.

Thanks! I think I will wait a week or 2 until I try again, because I am not far enough along I think lol. But the Doctor found it yesterday.

Hey I found mine about the time you are, but i couldn't find it in the afternoon only later on in the evening. Even now i usually cant hear it for too long before bubba moves and I loose it again. Also don't use it soon after eating as its too hard to find the hb. Mine is pretty much in the middle but very slightly to the right and quite low down.

How many MHz is yours? Mine is 3 but alot are 2 so they aren't as sensitive. Don't get panicky if you can't find it, bubba is still small.

Yes mine is 2 or 2.5MHz. And I had actually just eaten some eggs with potatos and cheese .

I know this is stupid but I am in the process of miscarrying (7w3d) and my angel sounds arrived today. I needed to try it to make sure it worked so gave it a go and found my hb. DF counted it as 90bpm. Was fascinating to hear the swooshing noises. Maybe next time I'll get to use it properly but for now it's packed up again and put away.

It was 177bpm, super fast. My soon to be fauther in-law is convinced its going to be a girl lol.

Mine was 171 at my scan and has been around that on the Doppler, is quite handy it being high as you can't confuse it with anything else.
I think mine is gonna be a girl too, which I would love. Although I would still be happy with a boy. Will be a long wait till I find out though as wont know until the birth! X

Ahh yall are waiting!! I couldnt stand that lol. My next scan is at 18wks and I am going to find out the sex of the baby. DF wants to know so we can start buying stuff. I cant wait!!
