I like Morris Porter but I guess it might even depend on your forename. I'd do the same but our names dont go well together!

I wanted to double barrel but my parents were having a very messy divorce the year I got married so I wasn't vastly attached to my maiden name....and it sounds like a really, really bad action hero imo. Vann-Goddard anyone?

I think I agree that Morris-Porter is better, although they both sound good. You could create a new surname entirely, if you wanted?

We both double barrelled our names when we got married and will use a double barrelled name for our children. We chose the way round that sounded the best. I like Morris-porter.
