Down syndrome-nucahl fold question

A few weeks ago I had a triple screen blood test done. My chances for Downs was 1:170. I had a level 2 ultrasound yesterday, basically they measured every part of my baby. The result was a nuchal fold of 5mm. The Dr also said something about how the nose and the forehead weren't as pronounced as they should be.

Has anyone had similar results and their baby not have Downs?

I had odds of 1:4 with my son and a query absent nasal bone, but the cvs said he was perfectly normal, and hes a perfectly normal 2 year old now

Are you having a cvs/amnio?

Yes, I had an amnio and should have results in 10 days or so

I'm back with the update as promised.

It took longer than the 10 days the Dr mentioned to get my results back but I can now say based on the CVS blood test and amnio that was done......


I'm having a healthy baby with no known afflictions :

I had a 1:60 chance and it should have been way higher since I'm 27.

I had a CVS test and the ultrasound where they measured every part of baby.I got the all clear and found out we're excepting a baby girl.x
