Dream being snatched away?

Hey all, I had my bfp on Thursday afternoon at what I think is 8dpo, another 3 (lol) yesterday at 9dpo with the clearest being late in the day and another this morning at 10dpo. Well this afternoon I felt ready to do the digital so peed on another Asda one first and got BFN. WHY?! I held me pee in til I was about to burst and my tests have been clearer in the latter half of the day..I mean a + at 8dpo is sooo early!
What I'm wondering is whether this is the end of the road for me and AF is gonna show or is it still possible that I'm pregnant and I just had a dip in my hormones when I did the test before?
The test this morning was a 25mIU and this afternoons is just 15mIU.

I'm terrified!

Aww hunny, don't panic, it could be that your urine wasn't strong enough when you tested again.

When is your AF actually due?

I've not done the digi yet...I'm saving my tenners worth until I get a decent mark on a normal test!!
I'm not due on til around Wednesday/Thursday...I've had a really long cycle so not sure how long my LP is going to be, I just know when I ovulated because it was agony!!
I know its early, just after around 5 positives to get a negative, I'm gutted!

Some tests are just worse at picking up the hcg than others. I personally would wait a couple of days and then try doing another test - I know it will be stupidly hard as you've already had 3 positives but better to wait a couple of days and be more likely to get a better bfp than get another negative.

I wouldn't worry too much hun Congratulations - I hope you get a darker line in a couple of days xx

It's fine you're helping me!
I'm not totally sure, all I know is I'm usually on a 33 day cycle...this is my 1st month of ttc, I know it was 14 days last cycle so guessing the same for this which will make me due for AF Wednesday. Saying that I am already on day 39 because I ovulated late!

I'm no expert but I don't think that a chemical would create an immediate BFN. From what I hear, it's more of a gradual lightening of lines as the HCG leaves the system. Therefore, it's more likely that this test wasn't as sensitive, or maybe your urine wasn't diluted enough. Fx'd for you, hun.

Yeah your LP generally stays the same length. I know it's easier said than done, but try and hold off till testing again until Wednesday. I'm due AF next Saturday and determined this month to not test before then!

Thank you so much ladies, I feel like a div for testing so early, its enough to drive anyone crazy! I've never ttc before and this is my first round so have been a bit obsessed with testing especially after getting these early positives.

Well I tested again this morning and I had a barely passable 2nd line...like I had to turn it this way and that to see it..Maybe it is a chemical, I know I'm still only 11dpo but I had a more noticeable on a test a 9dpo, granted it was a different brand but the one I used today was a lower concentration of 15mIU rather than 25.
I still feel sick and tired etc but the happy feeling has gone Thank you to everyone who posted to me xx

Aw, keep your PMA hun, it's still early days yet. Perhaps wait to test again until AF due date you will get a much better picture then. Keep me posted xxxxxxxx

I'm not touching another test until Wednesday now..I'm wondering if hormones can fluctuate naturally in early pregnancy s you can get a variation in + and - each day when its so early on...?
Clutching at straws maybe but God loves a trier and all that! xx

I think your hormones are probably stable and it's the tests / time of day / concentration of urine etc. that will be fluctuating. Maybe a digi test would be better ? I know how I send myself crazy staring at a white line and willing it to turn pink !!! I think with these tests we can over-analyze the result so digi's are better, simply a yes or no answer. I'm sure you're fine hun xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
