I need a new dress for going out in BUT it's proving to be a fecking nightmare :haha:

I need it to have long sleeves or any suggestions of what could go over a dress to hide my arms!

I feel like I've exhausted everywhere but I thought maybe you girlies could help.

I'm a bigger girl, size 14, so it needs to be flattering too but I'm also quite tall :dohh:

Can you see my problem? x

Can you just wear a thin black cardigan over? Then you have more options.

Im a 'bigger girl' too (size 16) and I LOVE skater dresses, you can get them with longish arms and I think theyre veryy flattering and look lovely with chunky heels. Or maybe buy a dress you like and pair it with a blazer or a cardigan?
Which shops do you like?/have lookes at? And what is your style? xx

I tried that and I just end up looking like a librarian! :dohh:

I like any shop really, new look/topshop/asos/river island anywhere like that!

I put a chiffon black shirt over the dress I wore last time and I looked a bit silly. I'm an awkward one

Get a sort of, 50's tea dress. They tend to accentuate the boobs and a floaty at the bottom to hide any tummy problems.
They tend to be my go to thing.

xx

How about something like that? I love the lace detail, it covers you but doesnt look too heavy.

Both are lovely but too big! :( xxx

I think Boohoo have some lace style dresses with 3/4 sleeves and also some swing dresses with a peter pan collar which also have 3/4 sleeves, think they have them in a couple of colours in each style too :)

This is similar but cheaper. They also do it in blue.

I absolutely love this and might buy it for myself as it will be very flattering but depends on your budget

It's a difficult time of year for long sleeves really, but as Emy says a thin cardigan. Or there are tonnes of blazer's about x

boohoo have some gorgeous maxi dresses and "going out" dresses, and they have both with or without sleeves.

also, Charlotte-Letitia Crosby's range has some lovely dresses, some with sleeves.
