Hey guyz... im having a second ultrasound to see any difference from my last scan.. so I had some cereal this morning, but now im drinking water and I feel very nauseous and im sipping my water. Did you felt sick like this for a ultrasound? or what is your tips for drinking liquid without feeling too nauseous?

my 3 ultrasounds were all trans vaginal as I always went with an empty bladder, I don't drink much anyway... so I'm sure If you can't manage to keep down any water that's the other option :D

Just do your best, the water helps but it's not crucial. I had to have a scan at 6 1/2 weeks, I didn't know I was having it before hand, but the doctor in the hospital sent me straight to the ultrasound department so I had no time to tank up on water. they still managed to do the scan fine and that was externally. I can't have had much in my bladder as I had given a urine sample shortly before my drs appointment started!

As said above, if they can't get a good picture due to not enough fluid then they can always do internal. you don't need to be full to bursting anyway, drinking a pint is easily enough.

Dont worry too much about having a full bladder, I only had one glass of water before mine, and the technician said my bladder was too full to see anything so I had to empty it.
