driving me NUTS, fussy feeder!

OK so lexi is doing my head in with her feeding what a total waste of formula, i have to make her 4oz each time just incase she does want it all, but the past week shes been taking and ounce..not even just playing with the teat and drifting off to sleep, as soon as i put her down she SCREECHES and i have to give her the bottle again which she just suckles on..shes had about 6 bottles so far today which most of i've had to throw out because shes not eating more than an ounce at a time, took her 3 hours and 4 different bottles to take 3oz! whats up with that? should i take her to the doctors or wait it out?

Hey babe, Fin had a period of this. No idea why! But he's back to normal after a few days of fannying about. But god knows it's tiring. As long as she's not displaying aby symptoms of illness I'd say ride it out for a few more days then call HV or GP. xxxx

ali is like this too. he takes little and often (although he can finish off 5oz bottles from time-to-time). i have just accepted this is how he is make him up feeds as and when he wants them. he is never going to be the type of baby who downs 7oz bottles - he likes to drink every 2.5 hours. as long as your LO is gaining weight don't worry over it hun. ali is gaining weight really well so it isn't affecting him (but driving me mad lol).

Erin went through a period of this. I was fed up of wasting milk so I used the same milk feed twice, as long as it was within 2 hours of making up the feed. It will get back to normal soon. xx

Yep Hannah had a period of that too we did take her to the doctor (twice) because of this and both times were told she's just fine she did stop after about a week of it

Bella STILL does this! she only has 6oz bottles and i'm forever throwing out 2, 3 or 4oz of formula which she refuses to drink. She has always done this though and is showing no signs of growing out of it. Its a real pain
