I am weaning my LO and she's dropped a milk feed sooner than I expected and I don't know what to do.

She is eating three meals per day as of today. She has Heinz baby cereal for breakfast and home made purée for lunch and dinner, around 4 ice cubes worth per meal.

She has dropped from 5 7oz bottles per day to 4 and doesn't always drain them. Im concerned this isn't enough to keep her hydrated and I'm not sure about nutrients. She won't drink water from a bottle and although she tries with a sippy cup after each meal more goes over her and/or the floor than actually gets drunk.

Do you think I should be worried? If so how can I get my LO to drink more, either milk or water?

Thanks in advance x

Your LO is almost 6 months, at 6+ months, they need 18-21 oz of formula with 3 small solids. What she's drinking sounds fine for her age hun. Omar was on 20-24 oz before we started weaning, & he was drinking 15-18 oz when we started weaning at 6.5 months. He wasn't interested in water, he used to drink few sips before spitting it, & as he was suffering from reflux, I didnt offer him much before he was 9 months when his reflux was under some control. He was drinking 1-2 oz of water with his formula at 9+ months.

You can offer her more watery fruits & veggies xx
