Hi everyone! My LO has started STTN and I am going back to work in a week, so I am hoping someone can give me advice on how to drop one of my night pumps. I'm currently waking up engorged every 3 hours, so I have to get up twice to pump (and then clean pump parts) between going to sleep and waking up in the morning. It's tiring! I kept the pumps while I wasn't working so I could continue to build my freezer stash, and I think I would be ok with keeping one of them for that reason (I will have to start traveling a lot very soon so I need to have a lot of milk stored for the days away!), but I am finding it too painful to keep sleeping past the 3 hour mark. Should I just pump for a few minutes to relieve the engorgement but not completely empty my breasts during the pumping session that I want to drop? And is there an amount of time that I should give myself to adjust? I want to keep the night pumps as long as possible but I do need to drop them by next Sunday night!
