What is everyone doing to dry thier clothes while its impossible to dry them outside?

I use my tumble dryer all year round anyway so no difference here lol

Do you not worry about clothes getting ruined in the tumble dryer?
We dry towels and sheets in the tumble and everything else is on airers but it takes days to dry and means we have washing drying constantly in the house. They are in our living room at the moment but its tiny so they end up taking up a lot of the space.

We dry ours in our bedroom as it's quite big. We also have a washer dryer but the dryer does my head in

We tend to use the dryer however I have started using airers more frequently to try and save on electricity. The only problem for us is that we have underfloor storage heating so no radiators which means the clothes could take days to dry unless we have the heating on for a day or so :(

i use my tumble dryer all year round but certain things ill use on a clothes horse.

I use my dryer all year round. There's no way I'd put anything I'd have to put on mine or my LO's body in the garden :nope: (It's currently a building site across the other side of the fence, not to mention the spiders out there are the size of the huge ones on Im a Celeb..I bought one in once in my washing..NEVER AGAIN! :haha:)

I tumble most things apart from Expensive clothes I bought a heated rack dryer for our washing room. It's was expensive but worth it think we got it from Lakeland.

I put the heavy things on radiators, put the heating on for an hour and they are dry. Light things go on the airer.

I'm buying a heated airer in a few weeks though.

I dry them on the radiators and then everything that can't fit on the radiators goes on clothes horses in the dining room as we don't really use that room. I don't like having clothes racks out all the time but I have a ridiculous amount of washing!

I bought a tumble dryer on thursday and its awesome! I hated having clothes hoses up continuously, 3 big ones and clothes would take at least 3 days to dry, yes it uses more electric, but so worth it in my opinion :) plus Ive seen the bottom of my wash basket for the 1st time since the summer!

Hmm maybe I'll start using the tumble dryer more often. Does anyone find it all needs ironing when done in there?

I dry everything that can't go in the dryer inside. I hang everything on hangars that need to airdry and hang it up. It usually dries overnight.

Is it bad for you to have damp washing in your bedrooms? I was thinking about moving our airers back upstairs so there not constantly up in the living room. Ds mainly sleeps with us anyway so thinking about putting them in his room.

I've never had a problem. The spin cycle gets most of the water out anyway, so it doesn't take too long to dry. The only problem would be if mold started growing, but if you have them spaced out a bit they dry before that could happen.

I just have clothes hanger which either goes in the living room or in LOs room (it not like he uses much atm.) wish we had room for a tumble dryier but alas our kitchen too small.

We've never had any problems with drying our washing in the bedroom and we've been doing it for just over a year
