Drying clothes inside.

^ me too, we got rid of ours as it had a stupid tube that needed to go out window and had no where to put it in new house lol.

My house is like chinese laundry today as washed kids bedding. Its ok in the summer as it drys so fast.

Give a condenser dryer a try if you decide to get a new one. No hoses out the window then. I used to have one and it really was a shock to see how much liquid was going into the air before i got it.

I have a tumble dryer. I dont put jeans, bras or wollens in there. Everything else goes in. Before i had it i had a clothes horse. I would (and still do) put the washer on an extra spin cycle when its done the wash and it really speeds up drying time.

Ok so ive never encountered a tumble dryer before :p

And im thinking i might like one!

How do the logistics work, if i buy a vented one can i put it in my downstairs cupboard plug it in and away i go? or is there more to it? like connecting other bits??

If i got a condenser one does that do everything itself? so that one is litterally a plug in and go one??

A vented one has to be vented and set up properly..a condenser one you just plug in anywhere you want and away you go. With a condenser it collects the moisture and you empty a water container when its full. Its very easy,i was drying a load within 10 min of plugging it in.

I use the dryer all the time.....apart from things that can't be tumble dried then they go over the radiators. Being a family of 5 I could not manage without a drier.

ETA - we have a condenser dryer, it's fab :)

I end up doing at least 1 load a day, every few days it is 2 as we use cloth nappies. In a week or two we will also have a nb so i imagine that will up our ammount of washing a fair bit.

No room for a dryer so I air everything. Asda do some mini dehumidifiers for £1 each which captures moisture and stops mould problems developing.
