Crazy....about ur stepmom being prego too! I havent had anything else happen! I should find out today if i am really prego..from the blood tests! lol and also how much hcg is in my blood...ahhh nerve wrecking!

Got my second beta hcg results - 904...

Feeling very lazy today, sleepy and very hungry had a few cramps now and gaseous..

how are all you ladies doing?? my doc has asked me to go for a scan next saturday which will be just 6 weeks.. do you think thats really early? when have they asked you all to come for a scan?

Hey gals! I'm due on July 18th! so far my good sign #1 is that my HCG is doubling like it should, tested that last week. I go in for my first scan at 6 wks+1 on Tues. I know that some women have said they could see the heart beat that early so I really hope I can too! But if I it doesn't show I think its ok too because it might be too early. I have another scan at 8 weeks! I really really hope I hear it then~ I wish I had some more symptoms.... seems like that's a pretty hot topic around here. I have had no m/s and I want it! lol... I don't care how bad it is.. it would be really reassuring to me.

BabyDreams- I definitely don't think 6 weeks is too early. I made an apt with my doctor for next Friday which will be just about at the start of 7 weeks for me because I'm dying to see the heartbeat (which I've been told you can do between 6 and 7 weeks). So don't worry! I'm sure we'll both be more reassured once we see our little guys

BabyFever-I'm having next to no symptoms either haha...I've had some very mild nausea a couple of times and at night I'm still getting mild AF type cramps, but that's about it except for tender bbs!

I hope you all are doing well! I can't wait to get out of this first tri...

Symptoms for me are the same still:
sore boobies, tired, bloated...

Nothing else much really...I only feel like I could get gaggy a few times here and there, but it has happened before pregnancy. Also when I eat and then take my prenatal vitamins too soon it'll make me feel kinda pukey.

Is it weird that my family doctor asked me to come back in 2 weeks after my 1st blood test? I mean if some ladies on here are saying it is supposed to double in just days....wonder what it'll do in 2 weeks?!

I made my first appt for Mon 29th...not really sure what all will happen then, but I read that they do a pap smear and pelvic exam??

I' m very Jealous they do things so differently here. We only do the one blod test to confirm pregnency and there is no discussion of Hgc levels then i have to wait untill somewhere btw 10-12 weeks for my first scan (which will be the NT Screening one) and my first midwife appointment. It sucks im kinda in limbo until then

Silly as it is i too want morning sickness lol I didnt get it with my first (got chronic migrains for 20 weeks instead) so i thought for sure it would be rearing its head this time. So far just a little nausea but its sort of a nice reminder that i am indeed pregnant as it has not really sunk in yet.

When is everyone planning on telling family and friends? Hubby wants to tell everyone on christmas day but i will only be 10 weeks. On one hand i am worried that it will still be too early, on the other i dont know how im going to hold out even that long....

hope we are all expecting a pleasant weekend, weather is nice hers so might potter around outside, really should clean the pool and get ready for a week of 30+ weather

I called and told my mom withing 10 minutes of taking the pregnancy test. Also we told all our family pretty much within that week...and friends. It's too exciting to hide something like that. If say something did happen to the baby and it didn't make it- then we would just have all those people that care about us and love us for support.

I wish I knew what my HcG levels were from my first blood test...I didn't ask the nurse. Also she said the OBGYN Doctor would be going over my results with me..I just pray that everything is good and getting along like it should, taking prenatals and omega 3 pills, and takin it easy!

I have heard that before.. some docs ask you to come back only after two weeks but some ppl do it with the 48 hrs of the first test to make sure your copunts are more than double.. I think it should be fine.. did you as your count when you did your test for the first time??

Will they do an internal examination? I doubt it cos docs here say that they dont do an internal examination as they dont want to disturb the feotus...

I would probably go crazy if i had to wait till 12 weeks to know everything was OK.. I can imagie how you feel..

I want to break the news to my in laws as soon as possible as they have been waiting for a grand chiuld.. the only problem is that they can never keep secrets and the whole world will know within a day or two.. They would be mad at us if we did hide it from them for too long.. So i am thinking next saturday after the scan we will be breaking the news to them... and after they know I would like to tell a few others really close to me..

There is a good possibility that my doctor could end up doing an internal/vaginal ultrasound. When I go I will only be 7 weeks and doing a vaginal ultrasound will allow to see the yolk sac, baby and its little heart! I would almost rather have that than just a regular ultrasound where you cant really see so much. They aren't so uncommon here

So I'm in waiting until my 1st OB appt on this coming Monday and I was SOO hoping to be getting an ultrasound..or even that the Dr would be searching for my baby's heartbeat. I called the office to ask if there was anything I needed to do before my first appt and told her I was super excited and didn't know if she could tell me what to expect..

As far as she put it I would be:
Getting a pelvic exam, pap smear, breast exam, blood test, blood pressure.

I didn't hear an ultrasound !!! So I asked her "They don't do an ultrasound?" She said typically they will do an ultrasound at 20weeks for anatomy something...lol forgot the other word. Pretty much to see what you are having. I told her I had been looking forward to seeing/hearing the baby and didn't know if I could request an ultrasound before the appointment and she said "Nope, that's something you will have to discuss with the Dr at your appt"...

UGHHHHH.... I know there is always a chance they will just do it after all the other nonsense, but I want to know when I am getting it!! IF they don't do it that day then maybe they will set up a very recent appt to do it. LOL I wanted atleast a pic every other month!!

I hope they do an ultra sound.. But i guess they wont do it every month.. atleast here in india I guess its going to be one at sixx weeks and then one at 3 months then the 5th month detailed scan and then probably only at the 7th.. thats it.. good luck for your appointment with the doc on Monday.. I hope I get my scan pic on Saturday!

Well as some of you may have read from my other post I had some cramping and bleeding. I believe I MC. I went in to the ER and they said they didn't see anything in the ultrasound....nothing. My quantitive HcG test said 149- which if you are 6weeks you should be along the 6,000's in number. I went back to get another blood test 2 days after that and I find out if my numbers are going down...or what they are doing today.
