Hi, I looked threw the threads and could not find an August 2013 thread. I am 13 weeks pregnant today with my second child. I have one son who is 20. I have 3 step daughter 24 and 17 year old twins, and 1 step son 22. We have been married for 5 years, and did 3 rounds of ivf that resulted in :bfn:. Two years after giving up we found out we are expecting :) . I was diagnosed with a subchronic hematoma today, and could really use some support.

I'm 40 and am 13 weeks pregnant due 8/8 with first after TTC for 7 years with two failed IVF cycles! Congratulations!!! I hope all is ok.

glad someone decided to join me! Hope all goes good for you also. I am doing good just a little steer crazy on bed rest

I'm not working now, I think thats the reason I was finally able to conceive (no stress) and just joined a gym for gentle exercise because I was too bored. I am sorry you are on bed rest. Could that change at some point?

I decided to go back to college and lost about 20 pounds because of all the walking. I think that had alot to do with my conceiving to. Yes, my ob said if the hematoma is going away when I hae my next ultrasound on the 7th I can start slowly increasing activity. I complain alot but, I switched what classes I could to online classes and that has been keeping me pretty busy. Are you still going to the gym? I was thinking about doing some prenatal yoga before I got put on bedrest. They have alot of videos on youtube.

Congratulations on the 20 lbs! I've already put on about 10 lbs because until last week the only thing I could actually think about eating was stuff like plain pizza, plain bagels and mashed potatoes! I never eat anything plain - so strange. But just last week the MS has started to subside so I am able to get back to eating salads and vegetables. I go to the gym almost every day and walk on the treadmill at like 3mph - I'm not going to do anything strenuous whatsoever. You and I can do that after our miracle babies are born :) I also do very light weights so I don't turn into a pile of mush! I tried a gentle yoga class and the teacher told me what to do and not do. I feel like I'm on bed rest because I'm not working but the gym is definitely helping! I hope you get the ok to be off bed rest very soon!

I am trying not to gain to much weight but, I already gained 6 pounds as well. Then to make matters worse my husban said hi thinks it's all in my butt. They have a yoga class at the college I go to (and work at) the lady that teaches it said she taught her classes till she was almost 8 months. I could really use something to relax, when I did my ivf cycles I also did acupuncture, it helps so much with stress I am seriously thinking about trying it again.

I did acupuncture during IVF also but I'm not sure I would do it again to relax :) some of those needles hurt going in! My tailbone area has been hurting md a lot and the yoga has been helping me to feel more stretched out. Have a great day!

So today I blew off bedrest and went shopping. I bought several things for the baby and it was so much fun. My mom keeps telling me it's bad luck to start buying befor you reach 3 months. Well I am passed that and I went shopping :). Can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl.

I haven't bought anything yet except a band for my waist so I can wear my regular pants and no one will know they're unzipped cuz they don't fit! :)

What did you pick up for the baby? Very exciting!

Hi girls! I'm 13 weeks, due 22nd August and will be 39 in April (this is baby nº.1 for me) xx
