Due date question

Hi question about due date my doctor went off my lmp and said I was due the 14th of September but when I went for my first scan the ultrasound showed I was only just 8 weeks and 1 day and due the 16th September. My question is who do I go off?

They automatically assume your cycle length is 28 days. If you ovulated any earlier or later than day 14 your dates will change. What the ultrasound technician told you won’t change and is your official due date. Congrats!
