Hi there
Well i am also due in sept and to be honest its all come as a huge shock! I was convinced i couldnt get pregnant again and as i havent been with my partner that long its tough for us both, having said that i am slowly coming to terms with the fact and am hoping i stop feeling so lousy soon as its starting to get to me. My Partner is over the moon but has absolutely no idea how i feel and no idea how us pregnant women act (mood swings, feeling nauseous, not knowing what i want from day to day!!boy is he in for a shock lol) But on the whole i think now i am starting to get excited and will be glad when i get past the dreaded 1st trimester and as i am 37 there are also other worries to take in!!! Phew so nice to get things off my chest:hissy:.Anyway names karen if you fancy a chat get in touch.Byeeeeee for now:headspin:

Congratulations!
I am also due in september. September the 8th.

Congrats!! ive only told my mum (of course) and my partner a colleague at work (he has 3 sons so we figured he could keep schtum, you know! :) I feel really bad having to fend people off, and stay at home etc as im known to like a drink when out so it would be VERY obvious if i didnt have a drink, ha, ha.. So is this your first child together or am i getting this wrong?

So far Im due the 11th Sept. I expect that might change though as this is my first and we haven't had a scan yet, although I know exactly when we conceived :smug:

Cannot wait to have a bump and go to the first scan!!!!!

Hi Karen, Im 37 too and i know exactly what your;re eluding to. in fact, i got my letter from the hospital today regarding the dating scan but also to have a 'chat' about tests and stuff since im older... Im not too bothered about it, well i try to be pragmatic i guess :) anyway, at least you have some frame of referance as you already have children, being pregnant i mean- this is my first so everything is entirely new :):)

Hope you're feeling well, ive been lucky and not had nasuea so far (fingers crossed!) little bit tired and slightly moody perhaps.. pretty normal... cannot wait for the scan and get some bump so i can celebrate being properly pregnant!!

Hello! My name is Lee-Anne and I reside in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have a 4 year old son and a 6 year old girl. Over a week ago, I found out I was pregnant. A shocker, but now am embracing it. I thought I was done :) I will be 39 in April.

I am due sometime in early September but won't truly know until my ultrasound at the end of March.

I've had C-sections with my first two, and this will be a planned C-section as well. It's kind of nice as you know what day and around what time you will have your new baby. LOL

Also, I feel very sorry for those who experience morning sickness. Gosh, that would be horrible. I've never experienced it but sure would have hated it!

i worked it out to be 13th September for me but not sure how accurate that is!

First appointment with Midwife is on the 6th Feb... can't wait!

Hi, I'm due on September 4 and it is so nice to talk to others in the same spot because it still feels so far away...lol. My bf and I had not really been trying but I guess you could say we were not trying hard not too and we are so excited! Had some cramping and spotting last week but went and they saw the heartbeat and said that everything was fine. I can't wait and congratulations to everyone!

Ive already posted on here, saying i was due on 2nd september. But had to see a horriblenurse today and they told me im not as far on as they thought, so now im due on the 15th/16th

Hi guys - Im nearly 37 and this will be my third child (assuming it sticks!!) I had a miscarriage on 25th December so was shocked to find myself pregnant again so soon.

What sort of additional things have you been advised to have as an "older!!" mum?

I'm not even sure how far along I am but as we've only BD'd twice since my miscarriage it must be between 4.5 and 5.5 weeks!! I want to have the nucal fold scan and I understand you need to be done at the right time for it to be worthwhile - anyone know anything about it?

Sorry for all the questions!!

Tasha

I read your other post - it sounds as if that nurse is a b##ch and should be kept away from patients. Sorry you had such a horrid experience x

hi so excited did a pg test this evening and postive cross still there now been ttc since august so really pleased, by the looks of it should be due 20 sept.
do worry though that the test is not correct going to another one in morning just to be sure did anyone else feel like this?

Hi Im 34 and single(ish) and I'm due September sometime, not quite sure when i conceived as it was all a tad unplanned

Waiting for my dating scan and rocking between excitement and total paralyzing fear :muaha:

Can't wait to tell everyone so that i can be seen in public again, i'm in hiding at the moment because i'm showing already and i drink and smoke and party like a demon usually so my bump and lack of white wine and cigarette are going to be a huge give away :headspin:

You have no idea how happy i am to hear about you as im pretty much the same!!

I feel like a total recluse and have fobbed several friends off as there's is no way- none whatsoever- that they wouldnt know right away that im pregnant. I even snuck into our local w/ other half the other day and even then landlady was like "oh, is she not feeling well" when OH bought me a tonic water...!!! he muttered something about an infection but that one is not gonna fly for long.. I have my first scan the 15th Feb and since ill be 10 weeks by then i might just tell a few if not all after that... Work is a bit of a nightmare as well-again cause i cannot say anything yet but i do not seem to think of anything else:wacko: my main problem at the moment as i dont feel sick is terrible goings on in bowel area:blush: i am SO bloated, constipated and if i set up sail i could probably move on my own accord. Sorry, but it is giving me a lot of grief!! :)

:hi:, I'm due 6th September I think. Had my 2nd scan last friday & could see a bean & a heartbeat! :happydance:
I have twin daughters, who are 15 next month & a son who is 10, but this is our first with my hubby :headspin:

I'm due on the 6th September too!! I worked it out on a calculator a woman was using, it was very good it showed the end of your first tri and end of the second tri. How exciting :headspin:.

Congratulations ladies, I am obviously not due in Sept, but have just found out the my cousin and his wife are. We are sooo excited for them.

I'm due the 3rd of September!

For me down here that makes it a Spring baby!! Woohoo!

Hi Tasha,

I don't know much but i can run by you what I know so far... Im having a counselling session first (before my booking appmt) where I guess the different (test)options available to us etc. will be discussed inlcuding a dating scan where i assume they'll do the measurements to check the fluid behind the baby's head (down syndrome). I will also have my blood checked (usually done 15-18 weeks it says in the papers from the hospital, but i wouldnt be surprised if they do it earlier seeing as im 'older' :) -this test is something they do for every expectant mother -checking for 2 pregnancy hormones and their levels... you might already know about this.. i dont know.. anyway, depending on the outcome of these tests I will be offered amnio w/ a new test which takes only a few days for any answers. I am pretty sure you can request an amnio as well, in case you want that peace of mind.

Hopefully all will be well and i'll have nothing to worry about- God knows i worry enough already:wacko:

If im given any more info i'll share it with all of you, of course:flower: I have the first appmt 15th Feb....
