I feel that same... happy with either a boy or girl... but would love a girl as it would be the first girl grandchild for my parents... they have 4 grandsons between my brother and sister.

Yep... I was surprised they scheduled me so early.... but will take it....

That's awesome!! My first doctor's appt isn't until the 26th.. but I go in again this Wednesday for another blood test to make sure my hcg is rising appropriately.

I haven't had any blood tests yet... maybe that's what they will do.... ?

I bet so.. They like to check your hcg level and your progesterone level. It also helps them determine how far along you actually are. My progesterone was fine but my hcg was a litte low (which they said is normal this early into pregnancy).. so they want me to come in again and make sure they've risen.

Congrats girls! Ill join ya. I found out yesterday that we're expecting our first. We had been trying for almost a year. Super Excited!!!!! I've told my mom, but we're going to tell everyone else i guess around 8 weeks. I'm going to call my dr tuesday to tell them and set up appointment. I had just been referred to fertility specialist 2 weeks ago when i last was in. Im ready to start painting the nursery and go baby shopping.....i know im a little ahead of myself here..just really excited!
