LO seems to be a lot more aware of the dummy lately, last week asking Grandparents for it - trying her luck. This week asking nursery & the niursery giving it her last two days. First day they said she was teething.

LO only has it for sleeping, but lately is asking for it more & more - hardly ever asks me though!!

Not sure we're ready to get rid of it, but I don't want her too attached to it either!

If she's asking for it I think time to get rid of it. It's harder an harder to et rid of the older they get .

I'd just start telling her its yucky or she doesn't need it

I think you might be right, as hard as it will be to get rid prob worth it in long run.

I tell her it's for babies when i put her to bed, but maybe I need to say yucky etc.

Spoke to nursery yest who said she been unsettled this wk there unsure why thou

When I got rid of it I just told him it was yucky and waited until he lost them and then didn't buy more . It was hard for about 2 days at bedtime but it was honestly so much easier without it , knowing you find have to worry about losing it or forgetting it when you went out some where

I'm thinking maybe getting rid will be an option. I understand it might becfifhiict couple of days - week but prob worth it on long run!

We don't have opportunity to loose it really as I control when she has it - mainly sleep time in cot

I'm hoping this baby wot use one actually , my son ha his till he was 2 and I felt that was way way to long ( daycare was the only reason it stayed that long ).
