dunno where to post this..pg on bc??

hey ladies

I'm new to this. Dunno where to post this, but since i'm waiting for af i guess here is the right place..
i just got a weird feeling i might be pregnant and joined this forum.. acutally I'm on birthcontrol but i missed some the first days of my cycle and i've been having symptoms. How likely is it to actually get pg while on bc? I heard lots of women don't even ovulate the month after they get off bc, so how likely is it to ovulate just by missing some pills? any experience?
Did any of you get pg while on bc? How did you find out? Does bc influence the tests in any way? lots of questions
