Early Miscarriage - Could it now be over??

Hi guys

Would just appreciate ur thoughts based on ur experiences i guess.

I got a BFP on 18/12 and my lmp was 22/11.
I did the test as I had cramping and back pains and got a really fast positive.
On 26/11 the pains worsened and I started spotting, did a digital conception test again, took slightly longer to turn positive but the indicator appeared to put me back a week which made me wonder if I was starting to miscarry at that point.

On 2nd Jan went to EPAU for scan, they couldnt find anything - they did a beta blood test which was just 89. On 4th Jan had normal bleeding instead of spotting, not loads and minimial pains.

Yesterday was discharged by EPAU as my levels had dropped to just 13 so therefore I was or had miscarried, still bleeding at this time.

Last night had major cramping and back pains for few hours, afterwards bleeding has almost stopped and i just have a slight mucusy discharge, things are the same this morning except the cramps are milder, does this sound like the end or is there likely to be more to come??

I would have been either 5-6 weeks had pregnancy not ended

i'm so sorry to hear this honey,sending massive hugs your way.
It sounds like this is the end but just be aware that sometimes bleeding can stop and then start again for a few days

Hi Jacey,
I'm really sorry I can't give a lot of advice here. My miscarriage was a missed one, so my body just kept on thinking I was pregnanyt when baby had already dided. Sounds to me like it's on it's way to the end though.
I'm really sorry you're having to go through this.

I had an ERPC on 29 December after a missed miscarriage. Baby died at 7 weeks 2 days. After the ERPC, I had bleeding for that day and, after that, it was more like a brownish discharge which completely stopped yesterday so I think that mine is now over. Sounds like yours could be soon. I had some cramping, and still do a tiny bit every now and then which I think is my body returning to normal.

hi hun sorry to ask but have you lost any tissue or clots, my experience was similar and i lost one big clot, and the bleeding stopped ,6 weeks later i was still having +hpt turned out it was an incomplete miscarriage as the they think it might have been twins and i did not miscarry the second (WHICH THEY DID NOT PICK UP ON THE FIRST 2 SCANS). my point is if it does not seem right ask for another scan.

Thanks everyone. Im not sure what type of miscarriage mine would have been classed as because Im certain by the time I was scanned that I was alrady miscarrying or indeed had miscarried.

So there is a chance the bleeding will restart but hopefully this could be the end. My skin has gone funny on my face like it normally does just before I normally have a period when I normally then get a breakout in spots {great!} so guess my hormones are just a bit still up in the air!

Im not sure whether I ve passed any clots or tissue, the blood that I mainly saw was runny but not watery and from time to time there were bits of stringy blood which I guess may have been tissue - but nothing excessive just like what I get on a normal period but this bleeding was no where near as heavy as the periods I normally get which are heavy and thick due to pcos.

The only thing I can recall which may have been a clot was a pea sized clot/lump yesterday on my sanitary towel {sorry TMI lol}.

I dont think I am still pregnant as my beta hcg level went from 89 to 13 in just 72 hours and the hosp said that was low enough to discharge me at that point - if things dont settle down or feel right then i'll see what my GP has to say.
