Early morning sickness anyone?

Really glad you got something hun, and that it is helping somewhat! I know with my meds it took a little bit before they kicked in. I am feeling better now at 8w after being on them for a week. With the meds I'm on they are more effective if you take them continuously so it takes a while for the "full effect". I also think I might just be slowly transitioning out of the morning sickness phase.

And, congratulations on the heartbeat. that's fabulous! Such a relief to hear that little heart beating away. :cloud9:

5 weeks 4 days, so nauseous I don't even want to move off the couch to go to the bathroom. And I really need to pee.

Yet at the same time, I am craving cheesecake. Craving it bad.

Yeah, me! I've only 4w5d and have felt so nauseated for the last week. With my DS I didn't get nauseated til 6+ weeks. This sucks! I'm also super achey all over.
I got my first beta hCG drawn yesterday and it was super high so that could explain the nausea. Hoping it's not multiples AHHHHHHH!

Wow, that's so early for nausea, you poor thing! What was your beta from yesterday?

It was 1682, which is within normal range but that seems awfully high, huh?

Mine at 4w5d was 2825, so you're not too bad ;)

I see yours was 2800+ at 19 dpo!! Ok, hearing others with high numbers makes me feel better about it. Sounds like you know it is a singleton? Phew

Actually I don't know! Haha. My first U/S is next friday (June 14th) but I've been able to find a heartbeat since 7+6 using my home doppler (I've only found one but haven't been looking too hard to see if there's a second one). My gut says singleton, but I'm still on edge. A friend of mine had a beta of 2400 at 19dpo and she has twins.

Ack! I guess with 1682 at 4w4d, mine could easily be 2400 at 4w5d. I'm seriously terrified about the thought of multiples. Before this high beta, I was already worried about it with the early nausea and having read that twins may be more common after coming off bcp. I got preg 16 days after taking my last pill.

How have you been feeling? Are you excited for US?

Haha, I'm sure in most cases high betas just = healthy beans (for natural pregnancies, anyways). But I guess we'll find out soon enough! Do you have an U/S booked? I've never heard that about the BCP...interesting! I am getting excited for mine. I've had multiple losses though so this stage in pregnancy is always a little scary. This is the farthest I've gotten though, and my betas have never been better, so I am trying to keep positive.

I've been feeling a lot better this week, since starting my Diclectin. We were in Costa Rice from 5.5w - 6.5w - the humidity was HORRIBLE for the nausea. I felt like a wreck all the time. So I'm feeling much better now that I'm in a cooler, dryer climate. Oh, and the drugs. Have you thrown up? If so, might want to ask about diclectin/unisom+b6 or zofran. I'm a total advocate. No one should have to suffer through debilitating nausea!

I started feeling nauseous week 3! Generally between 10am and 2 or 3pm.
I am seriously worried about how I'm going to function week 6...

hibiscus: I think that number was just fine for 4W4D.

brandnewwife: 3 weeks! ugh, you poor thing!
