Brock (male equivalent to Brooke)

Harlan (old english for hare land) *love this!*
Mazin (arabic for rain clouds)
Kai (japanese for sea)
Maayan (Hebrew for Spring)
Ravi (sanksrit for sun)

Orion is gorgeous and was on our shortlist, family weren't keen. GRRRR!!!!

I used to work with a guy called Brook, which I thought was a great name - not sure whether your family would prefer this to River or not!

They would for sure, i would use it as a girls name

My friend has a baby named Ash hes beautiful (models for Bugaboo!)

I love Sonny as it it my brothers name and wanted to use that for my daughter but he asked me not to as he would like to keep it for if he has a son! So I wanted to call her apple but everyone went mental saying it just didnt sound right, I ended up completely changing course and she eneded up Courtney But it does suit her

My husband got the choice this time for our son, hes going to be a Harry after his grandad which I really like but how safe have my childrens names turned out to be? Especially with Mine being Alexis and my brothers Sonny lol x

Sonny is on the shortlist, a lot of ppl of facebook suggested that one bizarrely enough. Its strange how you start out with an idea of your "style" of name and then it goes off course. Everyone keeps telling me think of them when they are at school and getting picked on. Why because they are called River or Oscar?!! Its better in my opinion than all the Mercedes and Chardonnays out there lol

my friends got 4 children & her two boys are called ocean (but spelt different lol) & blue & they are lovely names & her 2 girls are mollie & esme
