eBay question

I bought something off ebAy it's new but when I plugged it in it doesn't work. They seller has been lovely and asked me to send it back and they will refund my costs, is it ok to just send straight back or do you have to open a case 1st even though the buyer has offered a refund. X

Should be fine aslong as the communications are through eBay and you keep your proof of postage.. Think cases are just for disputes/unpaid items x

That will be fine, just make sure u send it recorded and obviously keep proof of messages etc.
