Hi, I'm trying so hard not to worry about this. My midwife just called to say the high risk doctor that looked at my 12 week sonogram saw an echogenic bowel. This means the bowel appeared white like bones and it could be a soft marker for downs, cystic fibrosis and a couple other genetic issues. It can also occur if the baby has swolled some blood. Is anyone else going through this or have a personal experience they would like to share?
