Ectopic/ methotrexate shot

Hi Ladies,

Well after two other MC's I just recently found out I was pregnant again. I only have a 3% chance of getting pregnant without fertility treatment. My last two pregnancies were after a procedure at the fertility doctor. So much to my surprise my husband and I conceived all in our own with our tiny 3% change. I had no idea I was pregnant till I got a horrible pain in my right side, the only side I have a tube in, my mom told me to take a Prego test. I took two and both showed positive right away. I was in shock!! I went to the E.R. Because of the pain. They weren't able to find the pregnancy so they told me to follow up with my OBG right away! My beta was 3675. Two days later at my OBG my beta was 2900 but still no evidence of pregnancy other than beta level. She decided to give me the shot because it was most likely in my tube. They did another beta the same day at the hospital and it had gone up to 3505. I have terrible anxiety so all of this is breaking me down. Can anyone let me know what to expect? I know I can't have folic acid or take anti inflammatory medicines. Anything else? I really want a bath is that safe to do? Of course I shower everyday. It a bath sounds amazing to ease the pain. This is the 3rd day on the shot and so far I've been bleeding more and have more cramping. Any help/advice/ comfort will work😊

Oh huge hugs. I'm not sure what to say as i had to have surgery for an ectopic but that sounds really hard. What do the Drs say?

So sorry hun, I had to.have 2 methotrexate shots. They said not to.go.in the sun, no vitamins or anything until your levels are back down. A bath is fine xx
