Today the hospital consultant rang me up and said she's on duty on Tuesday and her duty list is looking very busy. She's on call this weekend so said she could scan me tomorrow instead.
So I'm going in at 10am tomorrow, and I'm bricking it. I started shaking when I got off the phone.
We jokingly call her Dr Doomandgloom because every time I see her she tells us the worst case scenario (I guess she has to). She said to me 'And Sunday will be better than Tuesday anyway, because if it's bad news you won't have to go back to work'
Nothing like a bit of positivity!
