Eek on way to 8 week scan and super nervous with no hubby :(

Got my scan in an hour and OH can't come with me as he's had to work.
My mum and 2 yo are coming though, just hoping and praying lg behaves so they can come in with me or I'll be alone.
Just feel so nervous, got a dicky belly this morning and everything
Does anyone know if it will be internal or will they try external first?

My scans have all been just me and the 2 kids, with the little one in his pram and the big one walking. They were both there when I got told about the MMC with no other adult there.

My scan at 7+4 was internal but 9+0 was external. They might try abdominal first and then internal if need a closer pic.

Yay I sure have!!!
They did an internal, didn't even try an external. Baby was there waving away measuring exactly 7 +6 as we thought

Amazing pic! I've had 2 8 week scans and they were both abdominal but they jsut looked like blobs!

I was really surprised at how baby like (and un blob like) it looked! Was actually there waving at me
Just need to hope it can put up with all the digs and kicks from its big sister now haha

Aww! What are great 1st picture of your little bean!

I'm so jealous of all these clear scans! Mine was so fuzzy and just looked like a blob. Still fell in love with the little blob though!
