Hi Ladies,

I have been looking into reduced price IVF via egg sharing with a company called Care fertility.

Thought I would see if anyone has tried this whilst at the same time getting the info out there for those who dont know about it.

Basically they offer you reduced price IVF (around £600) and in return half the eggs they harvest from you they donate to other couples who are in need of donor eggs.

Im really interested in doing this, was considdering egg donation in the future but as im on cycle 15 (not as long as some people on here :hugs:) of TTC and getting massivly frustrated, im starting to think this could be my way of speeding things up whilst helping out others.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this? or has any experience of care??

I am looking into egg share also but with manchester fertility services. I have looked at care but they charge £1000 extra for icsi which we would need, so with care taking into account screening costs for us ut will be £2000 to £2500. MFS don't charge extra for icsi they are £904.50 including screening costs.

Hiya-we have also been ttc for roughly same time. We have our NHS FS app on Thursday this week and if they arent going to put us on the waiting list for IVF, we are considering IVF with egg share at Midland Fertility Services. It brings the price down to about £1400 all in which is massively cheaper and what a wonderful thing to do for someone. Its cheaper as the person receiving the eggs pays for your drugs. We have already gone for a consultation and had to fill in this chart thing which said we met the criteria to donate. There is the whole ethical thing but tbh it really doesnt bother me at all. Would like to keep in touch if you do it x

Hi there,

This is something that I have been considering, and I'll defo be keeping an eye on this thread.

One of the ladies here has recommended The Lister as its completely free drugs and everything. JUst the HFEA fee to pay.

Good luck! xxx

I'm going to donate my eggs anyway, nothing like struggling to get PG that makes you realise how heart renching it is when it doesn't happen as easily as we were all made to believe :hugs:

As for the IVF my DH wants me to wait, he's said give it till sept and if I'm not PG again by then then we can talk about it :hugs:

So im trying Soy Isoflavones this cycle

Hi, we have just registered with CARE Manchester for egg sharing. Bit more expensive for us as we need ICSI. we were with Manchester Fertility Services but they reject us as my AMH level was slightly under what they wanted. I will keep you updated.
