Egg Whites, Me and the Dh!

Hey everyone

Last night was a first for the DH and I, I'd been reading about using real egg whites as lube if you don't produce enough ewcm lol.

Well we did it last night! Make sure the egg is warm enough though!!! That was a shock!

Has anyone else tried this? Been trying for 15 months I'm pretty much ready to try anything!!!

Not tried the egg white but have tried preseed which is meant to be sperm friendly lube - that is quite good and DH seems to like it!

Have you guys had any tests done yet chick?

lolol DH hated the egg whites he said it was too unromatic haha! poor man!

We havent tried preseed yet, might buy some.

The GP knows we have been trying 15 months and won't refer us or anything, she is so uninterested! She says until my thyroid levels are normal she wont refer! ahhh!

And to make matters worse the DH thinks she's right! But physically I think my levels are back to normal, my symptoms are gone etc.

But she should refer me shouldnt she? It could be that his swimmers are not good lol not just my problem! But we are moving in 2 weeks and getting a new GP and I'm going to demand tests lol! xxxx

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when you broached that subject with your DH! "hey hun, how about we get jiggy with half a dozen free range tonight"?!!

Preseed is good and they now sell it in these tubes so you can fill it up with as much or as little as you want - makes for a 'happier environment' as i phrased it

Sorry your GP is crap, that's awful. I think we caught our GP when she was in a rush (to pick up her kids) - i got sent for my bloods and DH got sent for an SA. I was okay but unfortunatley DH wasn't so now we have had a referral to the FS.

Do you think your DH is worried about having an SA? My DH didn't like it and the pot was waaaaaay too small! i didn't ask too many questions about that!!!

I called him at work lol! I said " honey... how do you feel about eggs"
lol he was all "what are you on about"
I said " well tonight we are going to use eggs in our maritals !!" hahaha! He choked on his coffee! Lol poor man!

Lol DH is a quiet man about ttc matters lol, he says he doesnt mind about a SA. hmmm we will see lolol!

Did you get referred quickly to a fs rachelle?

I'm a complete sperm Nazi lol, he's not allowed hot baths, or time with his hand lol! Or anything else that involves reducing ttc chances lol. I wonder why he's married to me!!! xxx

Tabby - me and my DH have been trying for 16 months and i spoke to my GP a month ago about it and he seemed utterly disinterested too. He just said "oh that's no time at all, you shouldn't worry. These things can take a while, just keep trying". I wasn't really prepared for this answer, so just maintained the stiff upper lip and left!!! It sort of made me feel better in a way, but i do plan to go back soon and say "look mo-fo, i want tests and i want them now"!!! (to be fair i won't say that i'll probably just cry or beg or something!!!!!).
Anyway, just wanted to let you know, you're not the only one with a GP like that! I think they have a standard "f-off" answer they give every couple, you've just got to be pushy i suppose. As i pointed out to my DH - it's what we pay our flipping taxes for, so if we want tests, we should get them, right?!

Coffee, ahhh I hate friggin GP's in what world is 16 months not a long time to try for a child! In this day and age!! Honestly they are so unsympathetic!! Lol I hope you call your GP a mofo lol that would make my day!

I had no period for 4 months then my period lasted 4 months ( had it for my wedding day ) and my doctor seemed so uninterested, just gave me norethistorine that didnt work. And she's a woman she should know how utterly horrid it is having a period for 4 months! leaking EVERYWHERE ahh! lol. It's finally stopped so fingers crossed.

Also I don't get taken seriously only being 21, DH is 26, I'm a childminder, we own our own house etc lol nope I'm still too young to have a baby lol!

Ahhh guys, you can't win though - you get "you're young, you've got loads of time yet", give it a bit longer and that will change to what i get - "you're not getting any younger now you know"!!! One day i'll just flip out and say "yes dumbass, i do know that, but thanks for pointing it out to me, just in case i wasn't under enough pressure every cycle"!!!
People need to realise though, this ttc lark is emotionally draining whatever age you are. I don't think for one minute i'd feel any differently if i was 10 years younger, its still cycle after cycle of heartbreak! Iddyyyyiioottsss!
