Not long off the phone to the hospital! They've had a cancellation so my dates been moved from the 31st to the 25th eek Pre-op tomorrow!!

Eek! I am also having my elective on thursday! I had my pre-op assessment this morning and am all systems go now.

i got my elcs date today, 14th november. the doctor didn't mention anything about a pre op, all i've got to do is call the delivery suite first thing in the morning and they tell me what time to go in. wonder if they'll do mine on the day? can you tell me what's involved? x

I know that they normally do it a few days before op...so you might get a letter through!? Il let you know when I'm home from my appt

I had to sit with a fetal heartrate monitor on for an hour, gave a urine sample, several blood samples, two swabs (groin and nose for MRSA). Visited by an anaesthetist and an obstetrician (not the one doing my surgery though so couldn't ask all the questions I needed to) did their consent forms with them. Saw a lady from Anthony Nolan and did my forms and consent for cord blood donation. Got given prescription for one tablet tonight and two tomorrow morning, went to Pharmacy to collect tabs, instructed when to take them and be nil by mouth etc, told where to go tomorrow morning.

yes maybe i'll have it all confirmed in the post. i see the midwife next week so will mention it to her.
