Hi,

I want to get my friends little girl Elefun for xmas and she'll be 25 months by then.

I knwo the pack says 3+ and my friend has said that its ok to get toys a bit older as she'll keep them away but do any of you have Elefun for younger than 3 year olds?

:)

Dec has it and I would say it would be fine. Dec got it for his 3rd Birthday, I think the reason it is recc. for 3+ is because it is actually quite difficult to catch the little butterflies !!!! lol Dec gets angry when his little net is empty at the end of the game. lol

Amelies getting it for christmas. As long as they are walking and have good hand/eye coordination they'll be fine. Think its 3+ for small parts reasons, not lack of ability.

well it must just be Dec then, because he is 3 he has good hand, eye co-ordination and he still finds it hard :( But they are all different :)

i was getting it for LO for xmas and tbh from the reviews ive read i'm not bothering anymore.. apparently its not very powerfull and the butterflies hardly move! if you do buy it just make sure u get it for a good price ive seen it for 10 pounds all the way to 20 quid! im quite gutted as the tv advert makes it look BRILL! :( so if anyone does have it and its good let me know!

anyways! i would say prob about 2 years old so they at least get the point of it but every kid is different i suppose :)

Ours is really good, the butterflies really get pushed out, they fly everywhere, thats why Dec finds it so hard cus there is butterflies flying all over the place, he will go to catch one then see another he likes and go for that one !!!! lol I would say that by 2 they would understand the whole concept but catching the little buggers is another thing altogether !!!! lol

But he does love it, tbh it is his most played game at the moment

We have it for maddi for Christmas so I think as long as parents are careful with small parts that age is fine :D

Jack has it and loves it too - good choice of present x

She will be fine! I have had this game for when Carly was just under 2 and Ella at 2! They really loved it , could play forever with it! I need to buy another one though as Carly and Ella got hold of the butterflys and lost them all

Deff get it!

We had it too :)
kiddies loved it, although I do agree with whoever said it's not very powerful because our's wasn't :(

but reading what everyone else has wrote i'm begining to think maybe there was a problem with the one we got.

we have it and it was really disappointing, the butterflies took ages to come out and the kids got impatient. Got it for half price but wouldn't bother really

Hannah aready plays with this at 2.5 though I agree with what some of the others are saying and you really do need to have fresh batteries in it for the butterflies to come up the trunk at any kind of speed. We seem to spend more time filling it back up though than actually playing the game! :dohh:

Seren loves it now and she had it when she was 20months, and she can play properly x
