If we were having a girl she would be called Elizabeth Vera, Lily for short. So I am loving it!

A bit sad as we decided not to have any more kids, so won't ever be using that name

Elizabeth is a such a classic name you can't go wrong. I am considering Elizabeth as mn for our LO. The only reason I wouldn't use it as a first name is that it is very popular. I love Ellie. We have friends that named their daughter Ellie (not short for any name).

Best name in the world IMO lol. If i was having a girl she would have been Elizabeth Elen with Lizzy for short. I adore this name. Classic and very feminine i think. xx

While I love the name, it is very common. Nothing wrong with that... still very classic and Elli is a cutie-pie nn.

I LOVE the name Elizabeth. We were considering it for a little while, but with our long last name it probably wouldn't fit. I love Effie as a nickname.

Not sure about shortening to Ellie. If someone is called Ellie, I usually assume their full name is Eleanor.
