Sounds to me like someone's little thingy was broken and he got himself a complex. Might be tempted to tell him clearly you are not rubbish because your stuff still works...his is the one that's broke. I know that is childish and not a mature way of dealing with it, but boy, would I be pissed! And see if he gets the "joke" if you insult his man piece.

I'm sorry he spoke to you like that. Our OH's should know that we are a bit more sensitive to comments and don't take jokes the same way they do, even if we're not pregnant.
