So i know this is my second baby and i guess i should know, but i cannot remember what i did/what happpened yesterday let alone what happened in last pregnancy lol.

In the last week or so have felt littlest mans head creeping up to somewhere justunder my ribs, just like his brother did, have also had this weird heavy feeling in my pelvis. It started as like a heavy ache, then about 2 days ago i was sat there and i had this shooting pain in my pelvis (different from my SPD pain) and since then feel like the entire world is in my pelvis if that makes sense?
Also my bladder feels really pressured and tiny, i feel like i need to go for the biggest pee in the world and when i get there it's like a teaspoon full or something but it's like every 20 minutes or so, really strange, even had my urine dipped thinking i might have uti, but was clear so now i am thinking that maybe he is lying with his bum on my bladder just like his brother did.

So after much rambling, what did it feel like when your baby engaged if they have? Does what i described sound like engaging?
Sorry would ask mw but she refuses to see me until after the specialist has seen me next so my 28 week check is now at 30 weeks, plus have just made official complaint about her so helpful she would be i don't know.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any advice xxx

Hi
I have been having similar feelings to you for the past week or so. I am constantly feeling I need to go to the loo but when I get there very little comes out. Also when I eat there is suddenly less room and everything starts to press more. It feels just like the baby is pushing at my pelvis and sitting on my bladder.

Its hard to tell for sure when baby is engaged and when he isnt, second babies as a rule dont engage as early as first ones and they can also engage/disengage at there leisure! i'd say you was a little early yet hun, its said around 34 weeks with a first baby and later with second plus babies, i'm on number 3 and i only started engaging this wk xxx

I think it's too early as they can still move about.
I too have this bladder pressure, as soon as I start out walking I feel I need to pee - it's excrutiating sometimes and I have to tell myself I dont need one!

MW says that it kinda feels like pins and needles in the pubic area and u get sudden stabbin gpains down there... I dont know this is my 1st

i keep getting pains today too, is that what it is?? feels like my hips are being pulled apart!! lol (we would be about 35 weeks by our dates lol) it hurttttssss lol
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

in last stages of your pregnancy you will feel like your hooha is getting wider and that's normal only cause it's preparing for the baby to come out...but that is where you hips come out too!

I have needed to go to the loo a lot for the whole pg, so I don't think I can use that as a sign lol! I have had 2 episodes of shooting pains in my groin, just on one side. It hurt so much I couldn't speak. I've been wondering about whether baby is engaged too?

This is my 2nd but the first was breech, so when people say it's more likely to engage later if it's the 2nd baby, does that count if the first one never engaged? Don't expect anyone to know really, but thought I'd ask! Got a scan tomorrow anyway, so will find out soon enough!

I too have been feeling a 'heavy pressure' in my pelvis and constantly needing to go to the loo but hardly anything comes out....

BUT..

This isnt all the time so i think baby is teasing me and playing the hokie kokie as it's in then out etc...when i was at the midwife last she said baby's head was free but that was last Tue....

:)

I have been getting loads of aches and pains 'down there' and also pains in my groin and a cramp like feeling!
