Entitlement help!

I dont like asking but after discussin on another thread that slowly got divereted thought I would do my own!

Right according to some on 8k (just over a yr I just work it out for aftr tax) we should be entitled to:

Council Tax Benefit £1,703.33 £32.67 You should not have to pay Council Tax as you qualify for full Council Tax Benefit. Our calculation is based on you receiving £52.61 from working tax credit.
Housing Benefit £3,893.33 £74.67 You should not have to pay rent as you qualify for full Housing Benefit.

yet when I applied for these things a while back to just help us through till babys here we were turned down as apparently we earn to much? WTF! I stil have the letter somewere!

Can I reapply or what? Im very confused, I had someone say to my in other thread that I shouldnt be payin full rent unless I havent bothered applyin for help (which is a fair point if I havent) but I have!

And now im totally lost as to what I can get help with or cant!

We do get WTC but am unsure when babies born whether we will get ctc?

I cant wait for next summer so i can get some kind of part time job but till then....er help?!!

the calculator isnt always accurate hun, i dont get any ctax benefit or housing benefit, im on about 10k between me and my partner

I went to www.entitledto.com and then I phoned HMRC and went through it on the phone.

They're sending out the forms and made an appointment to call me back on Friday to go through it on the phone.

I'd speak to them, ask for forms and reapply and see where you get to.

Working Tax Credits and things can depend on your age I think? I'm not sure.
It's best to speak to them about your own specific situation.
