Episiotomy complications?

DS2 was born by forceps just over 7 weeks ago and it still doesn't feel quite right down there.. On Monday this week I went to the doc for a check on the healing and she said its very red and inflammed and the cut has healed together but its bumpy?
Shes given me treatment for thrush to see if that calms down the area and will be reviewing next week.

First birth also included an epis and that healed fine and was able to dtd 4 weeks after.. This time no way!!

Anyone else had an epis not heal properly and what happened if so?

I should also say DS2 was 10lb born!

hi.I still had issues with mine many months later.In the end I had a fentons procedure to restich and remove some scar tissue. Dont ignore any pain or discomfort go and see the doctor.

I also had to have surgery to remove scar tissue and be re stitched. This also healed incorrectly and he burned off some scarring. Wasn't too painful. I had an elective section second time round.
