Every time I go to update my avatar, i get the following message:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I tried about 2 weeks to change my avatar and it also said it then.

You need to resize your avatar, its too large

I get a security token error when I try to upload an image
Usually this means the image is either too large or there is a problem with the way it's encoded. Permitted image sizes are stated in the upload area.
The simplest way to fix it is to resize with online image editor and save as jpg, gif, or png

This one will do: https://www.picresize.com/

You'll find a lot of them if you do a search.

The file you are uploading is too big. Please resize.

was wondering about that myself. Thanks for the clarification
