Not shortened, just Evelyn... as in ever-lynn?

Not sure Caitlyn and Evelyn would work though! Just like the name.

I think Caitlyn and Evelyn are cute together and Evelyn is a really classic, strong name, while still be feminine and cute on a baby.

If Dylan was a girl he'd be called Evelyn. I love it because it is so versatile. Eve, Evie, Lyn etc. If we have a girl in the future I'd seriously consider it again :)

I dont like the "Lyn" on both names tbh hun, its like having a holly and a molly iykwim?

Evelyn is a lovely name. Go for it!

I think Evelyn is one of the most beautiful names! I really like it and dont see a problem with Caitlyn

I really like it. There is a little girl at my mom's daycare that has the name Evelyn, but they call her Eevie.

Is it Ever-lynn? We always call my Granny Ev-Lynn. That said, My Grampy always misprounces his middle name, so it could just be us!

On its own, I like it, but as a pair, I'm not so sure.

we had this problem when i was having daisy cos we loved the name darcy but it was to close to daisy.

we just thought of when they are older and your shouting them to turn that music down, they would be like, who did she shout? daisy or darcy :haha:

I think Evelyn and Caitlyn go really well together

I LOVE Evelyn and don't see why you can't have to names ending the same, it's not like they rhyme with each other. Only thing I found when I was telling people I wanted to call baby Evelyn they would repeat it back to me WRONG. I would say eve-uh-lynn and they would repeat it back to me ev-er-lynn and it really peed me off!

I'm confused...I would pronounce Evelyn w/o an "r". Is Everlyn how its pronounced where you live? I like Evelyn ( no "r" sound ) with Caitlyn. They sound like a terrific pair of sisters.

reminds me of heather off eastenders - being northern, i always thought they were calling her "ev", short for evelyn, rather than "heath"

If i was choosing the spelling evelyn then it would be pronounced eve-lyn not everlyn.
I kinda like eve but not evelyn, & i agree with what polo princess says. To similar , love caitlyn though :)
