Evening Primrose Oil Help ??

Hay girls,

Any advice on the dosage that should be taken of this?

Plus is it only to be taken pre-ovulation, because I was gonna take it for my bad skin also.

Hi Snowflake, I don't know much about it but I know that the girls over in the TTC forum do as I've read about them using it. Try posting it there if you don't get responses from here....good luck!

I took it this month for CM and it definitely has had a positive effect. I took 2 or 3 500mg capsules per day (started off taking 3 but was running low so switched to 2). You have to stop taking it after ovulation as it causes uterine spasms so it wouldn't be good to take if you got pregnant. I think you can switch to flaxseed oil after O if you want.

With my LO if i rember right i was taking 2 x 1000mg a day untill ov day
