So today I was having some neck pain and cramping at work, so I took one Advil (200mg). Immediately I got worried and googled it to find that it could hurt the bean and interfere with implantation! I am so worried now, since I was assuming/hoping my symptoms were from implantation (I am 6DPO and had a temp. dip this AM)

I'm so worried! Does anyone know more about this or taken ibuprofen during the TWW? I need some reassurance or at least to know that I'm not the only person to make this mistake. :dohh:

I suffer terribly with headaches and allergic to paracetamol so the only pain relief is codeine and ibuprofen. Both are not good during the 2WW.

I have spoken to many GP's my FS and both have said that it's okay for me to take them occasionally, not constantly.

The amount you will have taken will most likely not have an effect on implantation.

I di with both of my first two children. We were NTNP, so I had no idea I was pregnant. I told my doctor and she said it was fine. You should be okay dear! Good luck and baby dust!!!

Thanks JamieSue and PrincessLou for the replies. I do feel a bit better hearing those things. :hugs:

Why did I have to make this mistake on the *very* day I think I am implanting?! Ugh. Although 6DPO would be pretty early to implant, right?

Anyone else heard anything about taking Advil, etc. while TTC?

The month I got pregnant with my daughter, I gave up on ttc, was sick and loaded up on Advil cold and sinus, got my bfp anyway. Good luck! :flower:

Implantation occurs from 6-12DPO.

It really is just excessive usage that should be avoided.

Aunt Bug: That's very reassuring! Your daughter is beautiful!!!
