Wow, big congrats to her :) she must feel like she conquered the world! :cloud9:

Awww thats cool, a little bit of hope for some of the ladies on here too !!

Aww yay!! Well, that means I better not cash in my chips just yet ;)

Thanks for sharing sweetheart, we could do with some positive news!

took my mom 8 years and she had two natural born kids
:)

It took my aunt 5 years to conceive. Never give up hope!

Many congrats to her!

One of the forums I frequent has a woman who found out she was pregnant with honeymoon baby a week or two prior to Thanksgiving, but when they were out of town visiting family during Thanksgiving, she started bleeding and cramping. They went to the local ER who diagnosed her with a miscarriage.

Well the couple tried on the next cycle to get pregnant and low and behold she gets a BFP. :) So she goes in this week for her 'girly exam' and the doc notes that she's measuring huge for her supposed 6 weeks pregnant. (so pregnant she may not have miscarried the first pregnancy).

The doc also notes the pathology report from the prior miscarriage did not find any fetal parts. Nor did the hospital do an US, nor was a followup US scheduled. Everyone jsut assumed miscarriage and tried to get on with life.

So now the conclusion is, she's either pregnant with twins, just huge for this early pregnancy, or she never lost the baby in her first pregnancy.

She'll find out what's going on next week at an ultrasound exam.

There is always always hope. Friends of my mum's have tried to have a baby for 12 years. She's had two m/c's that I know have and one still born and lots of IVF. She fell pregnant aged 42 with twins. They are now about 6 mths old!

My SIL & BIL have been married 10 years, don't know how long they TTC before getting 2 rounds of (unsuccessful) IVF. They couldn't afford any more rounds of IVF and after two years, yup they have a natural BFP, due in May. We are all keeping everything crossed for them.

It always makes me feel rather small for moaning about my 6 mth wait, but there is always, always hope - never give up!! :headspin:
