i hope your 2cm dilated by wednesday
how long can you stay dilated for?
like i read a story on here for a girl being 3cm dilated for 2 weeks ..i didnt even think that could happen lol x

i went into hospital to get monitored and they asked about pains/aches
so i said about this pain i had 'up'
so she checked me (first internal, not nice )
and i was 1cm

have you finished everything now and just waiting for her to come?

yep everythings all ready for her, i keep standing by her cot and telling her she needs to come out so she can feel how comfy her bed is.

at 32 weeks imogen was 4lb 9 i havent had a scan since

yep my birth plans all finalised, thank god or id feel so unprepared!

congrats on full term!
it only feels like a few weeks ago when we were all going crazy over my 20week scan

i havnt even done my birth plan..thats my aim for next week coz i got nothing to do on the monday so yeh what do you do most days now?i think we may be having big babys but they can be a lb off so who knows lol thankyouuso happy to be full term today!x

i had a check up today & have to go back because i have an anterior placenta?!
any idea what this is?

my midwifes useless!

Awww, i know exactly how you feel.. i went to town this afternoon, and gave up and had to get the bus home - i tried the "walking to bring on labour thing" but i just felt like i needed to keel overr after like 5 minutes!!
i feel HUGE too.. ahh and i'm just so fed up and i can't sit down properly either cause i think i have shoulders in my hips?

Grace anterior is when its at the front isnt it? I didnt think that was a problem, only if it was covering your cervix.

that's what i thought? it's where your placenta is like at the front of your uterus? and it's not a problem at all unless you're booked in for a c-section then it can cause you bleed slightly more? i think could be wrong though xx

i honestly have no idea
i didnt have my normal midwife, and she just looked at the paper and tutted.
she said that atm my placenta is anterior but not low, yet i need to be monitored incase i develop placenta previa or something

im not booked in for a c-section, so i dont see how its a problem, unless it means id deliver the afterbirth before the baby if my placenta's at the front?

i feel so clueless, but i never get anything explained to me! i get looked down on if i ask questions there :/

i have an anterior placenta aswell.
the man at my 20 week scan wrote it but never even mentioned it and never told me i would need more scans to monitor it! luckily iv had a few then anyway down to other lil problems and its still not lying low..its only when it starts laying low that you may have to worry...thats when you get placenta previa..but in my notes it said they should scan you again at 34 then again at 36 weeks to check..so i think you should be fine now coz you are already passed 38weeks

it just means we wont feel the kicks as hard as everyone else..xx

ahh maybe thats why i thought i had reduced movements when i didnt

Apparently this Tuesday will be the hottest day of the year so far

I can barely move after the past three days either! My SPD has gotten ssooo bad and I got alot of bad tightenings lastnight :/
