Hi guys, im new to the forum so id like to say hi first off

Me and the Oh have been TTC for about 8mths now with no joy and every monthly sees me in tears, however this month was different. I was due my period exactly a week ago. Iv done a test which came back negative.

I made an appointment to see my doctor as I was worried that my periods might be becoming irregular again, now the docs turnd round and said that becouse of my past history with abnormal periods, my hormone levels could also still be slightly abnormal. He also said that the home tests were completly useless for some women. Hes gave me a specimine bottle and Iv got to go back a week on friday so he can do a NHS test. Talk about confusing. I diddnt know weather to jump for joy or sit and sob.

Theres a chance that I could be pregnant or maybee not as my home test said, but either way, having to wait 2 weeks to go back for a doctor test is torture.

Sorry, rant over, I just feel so on edge

MOST women can show positive on HPT. there are very few women who come through the forum who dont process HCG in their urine. it is something that they agreed to do a test for you at all because most wont until you get a positive at home. waiting it out is the hardest part, and after 8 months i know your frustrated, but outside of a bloodtest there isnt much you can do that will give you results sooner. Im sorry everything sucks...but at least your on your way to an answer eventually.
