This story is just horrific, its so scary to think of anyone let alone a child commiting such horrible act on another.

It sounds like those two boys have got a huge amount of problems and should have been helped a long time ago to prevent something like this happening in the first place.

its shocking. Its about 5 mile up the road from me, there were two boys attacked, and one is still critical in sheffield childrens hospital.
The two kids attacked were nephew and uncle, but young kids, and the nephew managed to get to someones house. He had no shoes on, covered in blood and mud, slashed, but kept telling everyone to go and find his uncle. When they found his uncle - he was 50ft down the bottom of a quarry, which he'd jumped down to escape the boys, and was unconscious.

The two lads that did it have recently been placed in foster care. Doncaster social services have only just recently been in trouble for letting 7 kids die. (Heads need to roll me thinks.)

Honestly, I blame the parents in this one and social services. These children were obviously crying out for specialist attention and came from a very broken and disturbed background.
