how did you do the switch to bottles?

I started introducing just one bottle a day (at lunchtime) then sticking at just one bottle for a few days then adding another bottle in the afternoon, stayed doing that for about a week then added another in the morning and that was it! Kept BF her at night for ages though, we both liked the comfort

Meadow decided she didnt want boobies anymore. She screamed every time I tried to feed her. From about 6 weeks we were doing one bottle at night. Then from 8 weeks till 10 weeks it was 3 bottles at night and then at about 10 weeks she started completely refusing boobies so we switched to FF full time. I didnt want to.

I did the same as sparky - introducing a bottle, doing that for a few days... then introducing another bottle etc etc. I will admit - Harry did go on hunger strike for quite some time, and it was a battle of wills, but obviously he had to give in in the end. I wanted to continue BFding once at night and once in the morning, but my milk dried up

Just the same as the other ladies, just introduced one additional bottle after about a week or so. Good luck!

Same as the others, just took quite a while between upping the bottles and dropping bfs.

I introduced one formula bottle at 4 months, a second at about 5 months, at about 6 months I introduced a brekkie bottle and then finally dropped bed time and dream feed at 7 1/2 months.

i had to just go straight from boob to bottle on day 4 as i had no milk and maddi had nothing to eat but if i did have milk i probably would of gradually introduced a bottle a day x
