Exercising once baby is here. Advice/Small Rant

I put on 2 stone last pregnancy and it was all gone two days pp. No idea how as LO was only 9lb 7oz of that.

BFing definitely can help with shifting the weight if you don't fall into the trap of snacking on quick-burning calories. There are some healthy foods that really help with supply like leafy green veg, couscous, berries etc. that won't be too harsh on the waistline.

Having breastfed and formula fed different kids, I would also say that my stomach went down much faster (5 days vs 5 months!!!) with my breastfed child - it helps stimulate contractions that shrink the uterus (it might hurt a lot, but it's brief), so no matter what sort of diet/exercise plan, make sure breastfeeding is #1 as that's your best help!!

I would love to breastfeed my DS2 but with DD1 I struggled and managed 2 days.. it doesn't help that we are anticipating complications with DS2 and I won't be able to feed him until he has been tested on.. can anyone say they lost the weight without BF? Xxx
