Hi ladies, I will be 18 weeks on Saturday and I am so tired, all I want to do is sleep, I can't be bothered to even get up off the sofa sometimes and when I do I feel as though I could just collapse in a heap on the floor! OH has been doing dinner every evening as I just can't physically get the energy to do it  I feel terrible. As soon as I wake up In the mornings I feel as though I've slept for all of ten minutes, I have a head ache and my eyes feel so sore and heavy.

I'm not sure if it could be the hot weather that's making me feel this way but I usually cope ok with heat.

Is anyone else feeling this way? I thought we should be getting a burst of energy around this stage?! :haha:

I'll be 17 weeks this weekend and I still feel exhausted as well. Its like I never get enough sleep no matter what lol. Thank god for oh and other family members cus they've been helping out alot lol

I'm 22 weeks and feel exactly the same. Everything seems to take twice as long at the moment. I've put it down to the heat we are having here at the moment. I can't wait for winter. :) which I hate aswel lol

Take it easy hun, when I was pregnant with DS I only felt good from 20-26 weeks :( I did a lot of resting.
I also was a touch on the anemic side, I would maybe mention it to your midwife or consultant to see if they want to do bloods ... you could try spatone which I have seen ladies rave about for Iron.
xx

I feel ya! I just turned 22 weeks today and all I want to do is sleep. I think for me it's a mixture of shift workers fatigue and pregnancy. I have two different jobs, one in a hospital as a CNA on overnights and my other in home care am shift. I swear I sleep at any point I have a chance

I've had my bloods done for iron and all came back ok, I think in going to try and eat more fruit and veggies, I certainly don't get enough

I was never like this when I was pregnant with dd, I don't know if it's anything to do with me carrying extra weight this time around x

I'd probably lose my mind if I didn't have a job though! And the hospital was such a great opportunity I couldn't pass it up. I got the job when I was 15 weeks. Let's hope for us all that the fatigue ends before the 3rd trimester fatigue attacks!

Hi mummy! :) ive been super exausted too. So tired I coukd sleep all day. When I do the smallest chore I feel so drained. I have also had headaches and mentioned it to my doctor. She said the headaches should he going away in the next few weeks. Lets hope she is right. Other than tiredness and headaches how have you been?

Hi jz! I've not seen you on the boards in a while. How are you? Apart from the tiredness, I'm great  we've just moved house so I think that is a lot to do with the tiredness. Xx

I've been trying to stay offline as much. I've read some terrible things and it makes me worry too much. I got married on the 5th and have been really busy. I was so exhausted after the wedding I have just been sleeping. I got my genetic test results back. Baby is fine. Yay! And feeling baby move a lot! So I saw that you may know the gender of baby?!? Exciting! How did you find out so early? And how are you liking the new house?

YEah I'm 16w today and I am totally exhausted. I was never this tired with DS1+2. Found out today that we are having a girl this time so I am putting it down to that lol. I haven't had much nausea this time though so I think I prefer the constant exhaustion :)

I'm glad to know that less ms doesn't mean a boy. I was so sick (hg)with my dd1&2 and have not been nearly as sick this time round. I'm hoping for another girl. I don't get to find out til 20 week scan. Like you I too will take exhaustion over ms any day!

Aw congratulations in becoming a mrs!! Wonderful news :)

lj congrats on your girly!!

Jz I had a private gender scan done at 16 weeks and found out then, I couldn't possibly wait until 20 weeks I'm too impatient :haha:

I was as sick as a dog with both my boys and with the pregnancy I lost at 12w. This time I only felt nausea when I was really really tired for the first few weeks. I've still had food aversions but again very mild compared to my previous pregnancies.

It wasn't baby bond, it was a place called take a peek in Liverpool, lovely friendly place I'd certainly recommend them :)
